The 2011 Taste of Victory
With about 400 attendees, 41 graduates, some incredible food, and swinging music this year's Taste of Victory was better than ever. As the evening began we were all able to do a little "two-step" as The Wings of Swing Big Band entertained us with live Swing music, and our bellies began to fill as food from places such as Nakatos, Big Cedar, Twin Oaks, Chateau on the Lake, and more served us delicious and exquisite cuisine. As the evening continued however, the focus moved towards the reason for the evening, the students and graduates of Victory Trade School. As the biggest graduating class of VTS, the students stole the night, and it was exciting to watch as the 41 graduates walked across the stage and received their diplomas! As well Chef Hubert Schmieder gave an inspiring and encouraging speech to all of the graduates and sent them on their way into the community to serve and make and impact. We wish the best to all of our students and of course our graduates!
We just want to give a BIG thanks to all of the community and their support in helping make Victory Trade School and The Taste of Victory such a success! It is only with your help that any real impact is made, Thank You!
